Is There a New World Record Striped Bass?

81.88lb Potential New World Record Striped Bass Caught By Greg Myerson

It’s not official yet but On the Water magazine is reporting that an 81.88lb striped bass was caught and entered into the Striper Cup today by angler Greg Myerson. The current record is a 78lb 8oz striped bass caught by Al McReynolds in 1982.
