12 Foot Monster Sturgeon Caught and Released in San Pablo Bay?

There’s a story going around that a 12’5″ long sturgeon was caught and released last Tuesday in San Pablo Bay near the pumphouse. It was caught by Sean Traecy of San Francisco and estimated to have weighed over 800lbs.

Some people have expressed doubts regarding the story as no photos have yet to surface. The story reminded me of another GIANT sturgeon but this time it was caught on video two years ago by an NBC News chopper pilot as it swam near the surface in San Francisco Bay.

So for you doubters out there, these giants do exist.
